Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D doesn’t let you erase your save file

Someone who managed to get an early copy of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D discovered something on the back of the box. The message on the back of the box states that you can’t erase a save file. I don’t know what the hell all of this about, but it sounds like Capcom doesn’t want people to resell their games or something. It’s not like it really matters though, but I still find this a really odd decision on Capcom’s part.

Solatorobo debut trailer!

I am so happy that Solatorobo is coming to the US. If it wasn’t revealed just recently, I would’ve already put in a preorder for the European version. Now I don’t have to do that, so I can support this games North American release. XSEED Games has a very good relationship with Namco Bandai, having released many of their games here. Thank you XSEED, keep up the good work! Now please give us Earth Seeker on the Wii next?

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter announced by XSEED Games!

Hey action RPG, dog, cat, mechs, and floating island lovers,

Today we are extremely excited to announce a partnership with Namco Bandai Games that will bring the highly-acclaimed Action RPG title Solatorobo: Red the Hunter to North America on the Nintendo DS™ handheld system.

Solatorobo (literally translated “sky and robot”) takes place in the Shepherd Republic, a series of floating islands that are populated by two distinct races of anthropomorphic dog- and cat-people. While very human-like in their nature, both of these races have evolved to use specially-built robot mechs (or Robos) in their everyday lives.

In the game, players follow the story of the dog-like Red Savarin, a young adventurer and hunter who has set off with his Robo companion Dahak on a quest to retrieve a stolen file of the utmost importance, only to be thrown into an altogether deeper adventure along the way. As the story of Solatorobo: Red the Hunter develops further, Red and Dahak will travel throughout the Shepherd Republic, meeting new characters and uncovering the truth behind a mystical artifact he has discovered.

Currently in production, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter will be released this fall in North America. We will be releasing more information in the coming months!

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is rated pending by the ESRB. Visit http://www.esrb.org for rating information.

Yay, I’m happy that the game is finally coming to North America, although I don’t know what the hold up would be. The game is due out in Europe on July 1st, so I bet it has something to do with XSEED’s schedule. Nintendo DS needs to keep going still, at least with localizations. Can’t wait to play this game, definitely gonna pick it up. I love the boxart too. ^_^

Music Of The Day: Paper Mario – Crystal King Boss Fight – 06.24.11

Well…Friday is finally here. With all the weather deviations around the globe, I bring you one of the ‘coolest’ songs from all the Mario games…(bad pun). The Crystal King boss fight from Paper Mario on the N64 has always been one of my favorite battles, due to the music. Hope to bring you guys more enjoyable sheet music next week, from Monday – Friday.  Staaaaay Tuuuuuned!

Music Of The Day: Luigi’s Mansion – Outside & Inside The Mansion – 06.23.11

Even though I’m dead tired with cleaning the house, I needed to show something. And why not something to remind me of my dark and newly cleaned house, then the music found outside and inside the mansion from Luigi’s Mansion! Though more of a medley-styled remix, it is sure to get the attention of all mario, organ, and ghost-loving fans 🙂 Staaaaay Tuuuuuned!

[UPDATE] Sonic Generations stages/bosses/characters/items leaked from demo

A Sonic fansite has either hacked the demo or reverse engineered it into finding out what stages will be in the final game.

I have embedded them after the break because it will be considered major spoilers for some people.

Sonic Generations demo coming tomorrow (Jun. 23)

Sega will release a demo of Sonic Generations tomorrow (6/23). The demo will allow players to sample the game’s first act, Green Hill Zone, using the “Classic Style” play style, and will support 3D televisions.

The demo will only be accessible for 20 days. On July 12, the demo will disappear from PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace. Downloaded versions of the demo will expire on that date and will no longer run.

This is where things get a bit tricky for PlayStation 3 owners. PSN is still not up in Japan, so PS3 owners will not be able to immediately download the demo. Sega’s press release announcing the demo stated that the July 12 expiration date applies to the PS3 version as well regardless of when it’s downloaded. If PSN is not restored prior to July 12, the PS3 version demo will not be released.

PSN is up in other parts of the world, so PS3 owners outside of Japan will want to check their shop tomorrow, assuming the demo is a worldwide release.

For Xbox 360 owners, Gold Membership will be required until June 30.

Yay, I’ve been waiting all year since the game was revealed for a chance to get to play it. Only a few more months until we get to enjoy this new Sonic game! ^_^

Earth Seeker – first hour gameplay

Wow, this game looks really amazing! I hope a western company like Atlus or XSEED Games will pick this up for localization. Would be great to have so many great games like this so the Wii can go out with a bang instead of just something left in the dust.

Music Of The Day: Jet Force Gemini – Tawfret – 06.22.11

Due to having to take my computer to the repair shop (with little reward T_T) I am now BACK! To express my mood for the past week, I thought to add the dreary and creepy song from one of my LPs, the swamp planet Tawfret from Jet Force Gemini. It’ll surely give you the chills in the dark. Staaaaay Tuuuuuned!
