Senran Kagura gameplay footage

Hey guys, I just took a recording of Senran Kagura using my Logitech webcam. Sorry that the quality is so bad, but I guess the camera really can’t capture that kind of footage like I was hoping. I think I’ll stick to my iPhone for now until I get a quality video camera to shoot footage with.

Senran Kagura GET!

Senran Kagura for the 3DS is finally here. If you don’t know, the game is about scantily clad Ninja high school girls. It’s a sidescrolling beat-em-up and you can also dress up the girls however you want. I’ll try and shoot footage of the game, but no promises. – pics of the manual after the break.

Professor Layton VS. Ace Attorney TGS Trailer

Wow, I can’t wait to play this game! I actually like the character models, but Phoenix’s eyes look soul-less. But I think that is a small price to pay when you consider moving 2D characters into a 3D world. I most likely won’t be importing the Japanese version since I don’t know Japanese and you need to know it to play this game. Hopefully Level-5 or Capcom officially announces it for North America!!!

Pokémon the Movie White: Victini & Zekrom, select theaters Dec. 3rd & 4th!

During their travels through the Unova region, Ash and his friends Iris and Cilan arrive in Eindoak Town, built around a castle called the Sword of the Vale. The three Trainers have come to compete in the town’s annual battle competition, and Ash manages to win with some unexpected help from the Mythical Pokémon Victini! It turns out Victini has a special bond with this place…

Long ago, the castle watched over the Kingdom of the Vale, and the partnership between Victini and the king protected the people who lived there. But that kingdom has since vanished into memory, leaving behind powerful relics and ancient Pokémon. Damon, a descendant of the People of the Vale, is trying to restore the lost kingdom with the help of his Gothitelle. His quest has taken him to the far reaches of the frozen tundra, and he has convinced the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom to help him seek his ideals!

Damon plans to trap Victini and harness its power, and as that plan gets under way, the entire town of Eindoak faces disaster! Can Ash awaken the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram to help him stop Damon and save Victini? The greatest adventure in Pokémon history approaches!

Well this is the first time since 2003 that a Pokémon movie will air in theaters. So far it seems they are only showing the White movie, and not the Black movie which aired in Japan during the same release. No word on whether the Black movie will be released in theaters as well. The movie will be in select theaters in the US on Dec. 3rd & 4th. Now to see if I can gain the courage to go watch it…I’m 22 years old lol.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney confirmed for NA release?

Despite co-developer Level 5’s absence from TGS, we received today a titillating bit of paper from Capcom’s booth on the show floor. It’s an English-language press release for Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, and while details about the game are still sparse, the release contains some promising hints that all but confirm that the game will see a release outside of Japan. For one, it notes that “English names are TBD,” which obviously suggests that there are plans to localize the game for English-speaking territories.

Furthermore, the English-language press release lists the title of the game as Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, which is the first time we’ve actually seen official documentation that refers to the title of the game using the franchises’ English-language names. MSRP is also listed as TBD.

Holy crap that would be amazing if this is true. But I guess we’ll have to wait for the official English press release to be released to the general public. I hope they announce this soon because I am really looking forward to playing this game soon as I am a huge fan of both series.

Ni no Kuni PS3 coming to North America early 2012!

While Japanese gamers have been expecting the PlayStation 3 release of the Level-5 and Studio Ghibli role-playing game collaboration known as Ninokuni for over a year, their Western counterparts have had no such certainty. English-speaking RPG fans and Studio Ghibli enthusiasts alike can now breathe a sigh of relief, as Ninokuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joou (subtitled “Queen of the White Ashes”) for the PS3 has been confirmed for a North American debut in early 2012.

English-speaking players will get their fantasy RPG fix next year.

During a Sony Computer Entertainment Asia press conference near Tokyo Game Show 2011’s venue, Level-5 president Akihiro Hino today mentioned during an interview panel that an English version of the game is in production and confirmed its release window. This PS3 version of the game starts off the same as the DS version of the same name, but the story is told differently after the game’s midpoint. According to Hino, the PS3 will have additional story content that will pick up where the DS version ended.

YAYYYYYYY!!! I am so excited that the game is confirmed for North American release. Only a few more months to go until it will be in my hands. I have been following it since it was first revealed and I am really excited to play it so soon after the Japanese release in November. EVERYONE PREORDER THIS GAME ASAP!
