Lollipop Chainsaw announcement trailer

A few weeks ago, the new game from Suda51 & Grasshopper Manufacture “Lollipop Chainsaw” was announced for release in 2012 by Warner Bros. Now, we have a debut trailer which lets us see some of the game in action and hear Juliet’s voice, as well as sing to the Lollipop song from the 1950s lol. I’m definitely looking forward to this game, should be good fun.

Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw detailed

Players take control of Juliet, a girl who hails from a family of zombie hunters. Zombies have suddenly appeared in Juliet’s San Romero High School, and Juliet must take them out with her chainsaw.

In addition to her chainsaw, Juliet is also apparently adept at cheerleading. She will perform acrobatic actions as she hacks away and fills the screen with showers of pink blood.

We know where the chainsaw of the title comes from. We also may know where the “lolli” comes. As for the “pop” part, in an interview with Famitsu, Grasshopper’s Suda 51 apparently says that the game will deliver a previously unseen “pop” style of zombie game.

Wow that sounds pretty cool although I’m sure we have enough Zombie games this generation already. However, with Grasshopper & Suda being behind the reigns on it, I have a feeling it will probably turn out great. Now to hope a western publisher picks it up for release.

I have yet to try Shadows of The Damned, and that looks pretty interesting as well. Grasshopper Manufacture is good behind concepts but needs to polish their games more before release.

Earth Seeker – first hour gameplay

Wow, this game looks really amazing! I hope a western company like Atlus or XSEED Games will pick this up for localization. Would be great to have so many great games like this so the Wii can go out with a bang instead of just something left in the dust.

A seiyuu plays Earth Seeker

A Japanese voice actress named Hisako Kanemoto plays the “Mysterious Treasure” quest.

Earth Seeker doesn’t take place on our Earth, the game begins after humans fled the planet in spaceships. One of them crashed and terraformed a planet to become Earth-like, but the damaged craft created monsters like an insect mixed with a railgun. On the planet, you travel with Guardians, natives who will help you in battle if you give them some booze.

I really hope that Earth Seeker gets picked up for western release. I have sent it many times to XSEED Games, and they said they were keeping an eye on it.
