This is currently the last Pokémon of the 6th generation to be released, and stars in it’s own movie with a 7th generation Pokémon, named Magearna.

Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel Trailer

The Pokémon Company has today released a trailer for the English version of the latest Pokémon movie, featuring a 7th generation Pokémon called Magearna, that premiered in Japan just last month. This is a quick turnaround for a movie.

My personal opinion makes me believe that they want to hurry up and release the film and finish off the XYZ anime series in order to align with the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon on November 18th.

Arceus now available via Serial Code at Participating Retailers

Every month of 2016, in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, Nintendo has released a Mythical Pokémon either through Mystery Gift via WiFi or a Special Serial code card at participating retailers.

This month’s release features the Mythical Pokémon Arceus, said to be the creator of Pokémon, and even has a whole movie Arceus and the Jewel of Life devoted to him.

Arceus is Level 100, and features the moves Hyperbeam, Judgment, Perish Song, and Recover.

Arceus is available through GameStop, EB Games, Game, Game Mania, and other retailers in North America and Europe until August 24th.
