Kirby’s Return to Dream Land GET!

Well today Kirby’s Return to Dream Land for the Wii arrived! As you may already know, this game originally started out on the Gamecube way back in the day and had disappeared for many years until it resurfaced back in January. The game is more of a traditional style Kirby, except that it now adds multiplayer for up to 4 players. You can choose from Kirby, Waddle Dee, King Dedede, and Meta Knight! I haven’t played it yet but I’m looking forward to it as I love Kirby games!

I got Pokémon Rumble Blast, Kirby Mass Attack, and Okamiden!

Today until November 5th Target is holding a sale on all games in stock Buy 2 Get 1 Free. I got back an hour or two ago and picked up Pokémon Rumble Blast for the 3DS, and Kirby Mass Attack & Okamiden for the DS.

Apparently there was some glitch going around where you could Buy 1 & Get 1 Free but now the stores are starting to realize it and canceling the sales once management informs them of the error. Some people were able to take advantage of it while others were flat out denied. I didn’t even know about this glitch until after I got home with the games, lol. If I knew I would’ve picked up Professor Layton’s latest game for the DS, oh well.

I probably won’t be playing any of my new games today unless I get bored or annoyed with Solatorobo as I want to finish it before I start anymore games. Lets just say I have a big backlog. Kirby’s Return to Dreamland & Sonic Generations will be here on Monday & Tuesday respectively, so I am going to be a very very busy gamer for a good while.

They also had preorder cards for Super Mario 3D Land & Mario Kart 7 and both come with $5 Target gift cards when you pick them up, so I went and got those too. 🙂

PlayStation Vita coming to N. America & Europe on Feb. 22, 2012

From CEO Jack Tretton via the PlayStation Blog…

This afternoon on stage at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, I shared some very exciting news that I know the PlayStation Nation has been anticipating since we unveiled PlayStation Vita back in January. For those looking to get their hands on the ultimate in handheld entertainment, I’m thrilled to let you know that starting on February 22, 2012, PS Vita will be available at major retailers in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe.

Our first-party studios and army of publishing partners have been extremely hard at work to ensure that PS Vita launches with a vast library of titles that deliver unique gameplay experiences that go beyond any handheld or mobile device on the market. We have more than 100 games currently in development globally that span many different genres, including Sound Shapes, Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Capcom’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, EA Sports’ FIFA, Activision’s Call of Duty, and numerous others that you’ll hear about in the months ahead.

I’ve had the chance to spend some time with several of these titles and I think you’ll be blown away by how each takes advantage of the technology packed into PS Vita to deliver amazing gaming experiences. With its vibrant 5-inch OLED screen, dual analog sticks, dual cameras, and front and rear touch panel, PS Vita will deliver rich, immersive games with stunning graphics, which simply can’t be found anywhere else. Now you’ll be able to play shooters and action titles on-the-go with controls that are familiar, and you won’t have to block out the gorgeous screen to interact with the games.

In addition to the deep portfolio of games, you’ll also have access to native social applications – near and Party – that help you connect with your friends and fellow PS Vita owners. We also recently announced that PS Vita will have your favorite social networking applications like Facebook, foursquare, Skype, and Twitter, so you can share and connect with friends. With PS Vita, you can enjoy the best handheld gaming experience available and stay connected to the people and interests you care about.

It’s never been a better time to be a part of PlayStation Nation and I can’t wait for you to experience this revolutionary handheld system. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we near the February 22, 2012 launch!

Well that is certainly interesting, not even a year after the 3DS released in the west. It will be interesting but I don’t think I’ll pick one up at launch. I’ll wait for a big library of games I’m interested and a different color system. Come on Dark Blue!!!

Well that was some awesome news that Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be released in North America & Europe next year via Namco Bandai. Also, I wonder if we will see any of those 3DS games released here, I really want Layton vs. Ace Attorney and all of those other 3DS games lol. Now which platform will I get Time Travelers on, 3DS or Vita? Time will tell…

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch confirmed for N. America & Europe!

Straight from the Level-5 World Conference in Japan & Level-5 International America’s twitter page comes with a confirmation of a North American & European release of Ni No Kuni for PS3!

BREAKING: NI NO KUNI: WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH will be brought to Europe and North America in 2012 by Namco Bandai!

Apparently Namco Bandai will handle the North American & European release! This is great news for fans of this game who were hoping for a localization. I can’t wait to find out the release date, I will preorder two copies! (One for me and one for a friend ^_^)

Team Ico Collection GET!

I picked up The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3. Basically the games are remastered from the PS2 versions with HD graphics and trophy support. I watched my friend play it last week and was mesmerized by how cool it looks. I love adventure games, so when a friend told me that it was on sale at Best Buy for $24.99 until today, I went there after work and picked it up. I hope I enjoy these games and I’m sure I probably will. Anyways, it comes with a cool reversible box art which I quickly switched it to.

Super Mario 3D Land new trailer

The gameplay definitely reminds me of Mario 64, Galaxy, and New Super Mario Bros. which is just awesome! Can’t wait to pick this up on November 13th and hopefully with the Tanooki keychain when you preorder at GameStop.
