Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan gets a fighting game on PS3/360

Manga & Anime series Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan is getting the fighting game treatment on the PS3 & 360. The game is being published by Konami and rumors on 2ch say it was outsourced to Arc System Works, developers behind the popular BlazBlue fighting games. The video game is due out in Japan on November 17th.

The game adaptation is a team fighter, where you create a custom team from over 100 demons. You’ll make use of your fighters’ “Osore”, which is the name the manga gives to skills of its demon characters.

The game supports four player cooperative and competitive online play. There’s also an original story for the game’s story mode.

There is no word yet on this game releasing outside of Japan as the Nura manga series was just released in North America this year. Strong sales of the manga and eventual NA anime release would more than likely prompt Konami to take a chance on the title outside of Japan. We’ll bring you details if or when they are announced by Konami. I really hope it does come out here though, I’m loving the art style they are going with for the game; it’s just so colorful.
