Beyond the Labyrinth first trailer

Beyond the Labyrinth finally has a game trailer starring a clumsy girl who we have no name for at the moment. The game is set to make its playable debut at Tokyo Game Show in Japan next month. We’ll be sure to bring you more details on this adventure game for the 3DS.

I have been really interested in this game since it was first revealed (even with the bullshots). I’m sure it will look much better with the 3D turned on though.

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan gets a fighting game on PS3/360

Manga & Anime series Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan is getting the fighting game treatment on the PS3 & 360. The game is being published by Konami and rumors on 2ch say it was outsourced to Arc System Works, developers behind the popular BlazBlue fighting games. The video game is due out in Japan on November 17th.

The game adaptation is a team fighter, where you create a custom team from over 100 demons. You’ll make use of your fighters’ “Osore”, which is the name the manga gives to skills of its demon characters.

The game supports four player cooperative and competitive online play. There’s also an original story for the game’s story mode.

There is no word yet on this game releasing outside of Japan as the Nura manga series was just released in North America this year. Strong sales of the manga and eventual NA anime release would more than likely prompt Konami to take a chance on the title outside of Japan. We’ll bring you details if or when they are announced by Konami. I really hope it does come out here though, I’m loving the art style they are going with for the game; it’s just so colorful.

Doctor Lautrec coming in September

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is still set for release outside of Japan this year. Several retailers have listed the game for various dates of release in September in North America.

Check out the trailer to hear the Parisians talk with English accents. I guess it is okay since the game is set in Europe after all. Sometimes the European accents help strengthen the stories impact in the players mind. Can’t wait to check this game out in a few more months!

Doctor Lautrec JP launch trailer

I can’t wait for this game to come out later. It is true that the game was inspired by the Professor Layton series, but it looks like it has a chance to stand on its own two feet. I can’t wait to give this game a try. I’m sure we’ll hear about a release date soon enough.

Wow, the game actually looks a lot more interesting than the Professor Layton series. I think I’ll definitely check this game out when it comes out this summer around the world.
