Professor Layton and the Last Specter trademarked in NA

Professor Layton and the Specter’s Flute was released in Japan back in 2009. The game is actually the first prequel in the new series of games, which is then followed by Mask of Miracle on the Nintendo 3DS.

Today it was revealed that Level-5 has filed a trademark for “Professor Layton and the Last Specter” in North America, indicating that they will be publishing the title instead of Nintendo. Last year, Mask of Miracle for 3DS was listed under Level-5 as the publisher, so it seems that they are ready to start publishing their own games outside of Japan.

I’m sure the game will probably be announced at E3 if not earlier; hopefully there is a Level-5 booth with these and the other Level-5 3DS games, that would be awesome!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, but I also own a PS3. I love video games, anime, music, movies, and the internet! The 3DS is really awesome and I'm looking forward to playing more fun and unique games in the future.
