Yakuza 4 cut content is minimal

SEGA heard the fan outcry after a ton of side content was cut from Yakuza 3. This time SEGA only cut two things out of Yakuza 4.

The first is the Answer X Answer arcade Mini-game. The game contains images with Japanese text that couldn’t be edited to make it understandable.

The second is the opening video. The original song “Butterfly City” was cut because SEGA faced licensing issues with the song. Instead, SEGA replaced it with a remix of the song “For Faith” from Hidenori Shoji.

Other than those two little things, the game seems to be mostly left intact which will make the fans happy this time around.

I myself wish they would dub the game since there are plenty of excellent anime voice actors out there now. But oh well…one can only hope though right?

Yakuza 4 is due for release in North America on March 15th.
